Prices are reasonable... Produce is good quality... They do accept cash cards etc...
Hi NiC B! I manage the market. We do not compete on price, we compete on quality. We carry varieties of produce you will not find in supermarkets. We are a certified farmers market which means that we only carry locally grown produce that is being sold by the farmer or one of their employees. This is highly regulated by Los Angeles County. Because the produce is brought to market by the farmer, our produce is far fresher than supermarkets. Much of our produce has been picked as recently as within 24 hours of being at our market. Supermarket produce is normally a couple weeks old and supermarkets can keep some produce items in cold storage for several months. Occasionally we check prices for fun at supermarkets. Some of our stuff is less, some more. We cannot compete with so-called sale prices at supermarkets. Supermarkets offer loss leaders where they advertise certain items each week cheaper to draw people into the store. We just can't play games like that. Hope this helps!
It is most definitely cheaper than typical grocery stores. Cash and card is accepted. 9 times out of 10 I use wireless pay or snapchat. You won't have to worry about old produce as it's fresh straight from the source.
