There is no other moving company that I would refer friends or family to other than Camelot Moving & Storage. From getting an estimate to having them come to pack and move our home belongsing into their warehouse for safe keeping. From repacking our belongsing and hauling it across crountry to unpack into a storage unit until our new home is ready. This company is by far the best! Camelot movers were awesome. Although we experienced some delays no one could control, I was kept informed of every detail. Camelot movers packed and moved out our recently sold four-bedroom house without leaving a mark on our wood flooring, any wall or door frame. The sooner, the better. For local moves, we recommend scheduling movers at least 2-4 weeks in advance. For long-distance moves, you should schedule at least 4-12 weeks in advance.
The cost of moving in Los Angeles will vary depending on your needs. Some of the factors that will affect cost include: the number of items you are moving, the size of your place, access (such as an elevator or a long driveway), and the services you need (e.g., packing, unpacking, and storage).
Most local moves are completed in a single day. Additional services, like packing, may require more than one day to complete. Some very large home moves take longer than one day. Some medium-range moves, such as Los Angeles to the Bay Area, can also take two days.
Not all movers provide storage services, but they will move your items into a self-storage facility for you. Others “provide” storage services, but they really just rent a self-storage facility. Others provide professional storage services, which means they have a warehouse they secure and oversee.
There are a few items movers won’t pack, including aerosols, liquids, firearms and ammunition, and propane.

This will vary wildly based on how much your moving crew is handling (i.e., whether they are packing/unpacking your belongings), the size of your home, access, etc. A rough average would be 3-4 hours to load and 3-4 hours to unload.
Do your research. When you find a trustworthy moving company, you know your items are in good hands. Ask for referrals from your real estate agent or apartment manager, and ask them which companies to avoid. Only work with licensed moving companies that employ their movers.
A couple factors determine how many crew members are assigned, primarily the square footage and the number of bedrooms in a home, as well as flights of stairs and if there are any particularly heavy items that would require more man power.
