We camped in Santa Rosa beach front and you see can camp on the sand in front of the space in most of the sites. We were 4 sites in for the entrance I think. In San Miguel you are above the beach.
The area approximately 5-10 yards on the beachfront from the curb that the RV is parked against is ok for tent camping. There are signs that mark the area.
It's allowed and there is room, but know that beachfront really means beach view. There's distance between to site and actual water. In some cases, there's a small cliff.
