Do I have to greet the delivery person, or does the delivery person ring the doorbell or knock and then leave the groceries at my doorstep?

Usually, the delivery person will place the bags at your doorstep and send you a text or an email letting you know all has been delivered. Not nessacary to greet them. Though, I sometimes do just to give the delivery person a little extra cash tip.
