Yes part of the beach is a dog park. Just past a set of stairs leading down to the beach is an entire area for doggies! Mine live it
We are camping here now. Tons of dogs in the campground (including ours). No dogs allowed on the beach adjacent to the campsites. We’ve had to keep a person back with our dog each day...
Dogs are not allowed on the state, only in the campground. The beach at the bottom of the stairs at the end is owned by the city and is rarely patrolled. Although people take their dogs there, they could get a ticket for doing it, on or off leash.
