I'll be coming from Whittier to work 2 days a week at the Camarillo Outlet. May I check in for the overnight in between w/o a camper or a tent? Are there showers? Would rather be outdoors than in a motel, and I'm good with sleeping in my pickup.

Lots of mosquitoes very hot up there. Mc grath bring a tent for two weeks although its full on w ends

Mcgrath is nice but 35.00 a night. Foster park has no shower, when I was there I slept in my truck, the local gym let use the shower for 40 bucks for 2 weeks, foster park wants reservation by noon everyday. Good luck motels are expensive

I don't think there are showers. Great park though. There are sites closer to the beach that have showers. Maybe check out Mcgrath State Beach. Should be cheaper and cooler temp.
