If the animal that is being turned in is a strike it can take up to 48 hours before it's put out for adoption depending on health issues
Not sure. I do know they are pretty thoroughly vetted before being available. I also wonder if there is some kind of psychological profile, as they seem to know the overall disposition of each of the dogs
You can call admissions and ask them. I've never had that question before, as an education volunteer.
If they have been processed in one hour pet put on hold for your final decision.you may visit with the pet then and decide you may find several you might want to check out .
