The Humane Society adopts out all adoptable dogs and will keep them indefinitely. That is not to say that no dogs are euthanized. Dogs that have severe health or behavioral issues may be euthanized. All dogs that make it to the adoption floor will stay until they are adopted.

Marti Huizenga Humane Society on Griffin Rd is a wonderful shelter with a benevolent caretakers, unlike the bureaucratic mess named Broward County Animal "Care" (should be ANIMAL ELIMINATOR) which is under investigation! STAY AWAY ! A DONATION IS ALWAYS HELPFUL!
