No. The best bet is take it to a nearby vet and see if its microchiped. If it is and its registered hopefully you'll find the owner. The humane society does not take in lost dogs and they do euthanize animals. Broward County animal control is near them and they do take in lost dogs but unfortunately they euthanize too. I think they have a few days hold on dogs that
If you bring the dog to the Humane Society they will check it for a chip and try to get in touch with its owner. The Humane Society is not a Kill Center, but Animal Control will kill the dog after 3 days. While you're there you can drop off a donation to the Humane Society. They could really use it.
Too answer your first question, you can't bring a list power to the humane society. You can only take owned pets you wish to surrender. As long as your OWNED per is friendly and healthy, they won't be euthanized at the Broward County humane society. If a power is found and unowned, you'll need to take them out contact the Broward County Animal Control. They are two separate things. They do however, euthanize at Animal Control as well, but will check for microchip and probably be the best way to teach original owner other than posting signs and checking local area neighborhoods.
