What should I do if I had a court hearing on September 5 and showed up but the person being served didn't show up I received my papers stating that the person was served until later that afternoon do I still have to have another summons issued out

If this is a small claims case and the defendant was not properly served before the Pre Trial conference, they must be served with a new Summons in order to have a default judgement. The Process Server or Sheriff will file the Return of Service with the court, proving they were served. If a new court date was set, contact your attorney and the clerk about resubmitting your motions.

That is a question that the court should answer. A criminal charge they would put out a bench warrant. I would call the Courthouse Tomorrow or Monday.
