Felt in love with to his great capture of amazing nature in the middle of a lot going on. This peaceful well preserve magical center capt my attention and my kids were super excited and curious. I am glad I know where to go when I need relaxation and get back to the real world.

Loved the opportunity to relish the glory of this nature preserve. Clean, well maintained and we saw many crabs, spiders and birds! Looking forward to the manatee overlook being completed!

This is a beautiful place for a pleasant walk. Plenty of benches for those who need to rest. Observe the nature lots of spiders, crabs, and tiny lizards. Best of all the is no admission fee and free parking.

This is a gorgeous and well-maintained nature center. Plants are native and I didn't see any invasive plants (which are a HUGE problem in Ft Lauderdale). The trails are decently long for a good nature walk. They also have a LOT of public educational events posted. You can tell they work hard to help the community and provide family-friendly experiences for all to learn more. I'm still new to Fort Lauderdale and with all the run-down, overgrown exotic "parks" around, I was starting to think there weren't any protected natural areas around here. I was pleasantly surprised finding this place!! :) Also, they have lots of wildlife! Saw this cute raccoon while we were there. 🦝 *Note: For environmental reasons, dogs are not allowed at this park.

There are a few benches along the trails.
Oh yeah! 75 meters from the parking I think
Yeah more or less a 30min walk but it so nice but when you get to the bay you can sit and enjoy the bay
Usually parks are closed on major holidays, especially 4th of July. This is a major holiday.
No summer camp, but they have activity days for kids and a monthly events calendar that lists different kid friendly events during the summer months
I think so, they have lots of wild animals like racoons, crabs and birds- so they are particular about the habitat being disturbed. Probably best to not take your dog. But it's a lovely park!
No it's not good terrain for bikes.
Not for nothing is it free
Open entry
There is a spot but unsure. Check with office.
Snakes, birds, lizards, raccoons and lot of crabs
Free
No its just for walking
No wifi
Dogs are not permitted in any Broward Natural Area or nature center because their smells disrupt the species that live in those areas. Dogs are allowed at any large regional Park as long as they are on a leash . The staff at Secret Woods work really hard to protect the plants and animals...and they do make sure that pets stay off the trails .
I don't think so.. there is a gate on the main entrance.. and I think they closed when is time ..
They close at 5pm everyday
No... there is an educational center designed for young kids to learn about florida wildlife and history with several little centers that kids can go thru and complete, such as coloring, games, etc designed to teach them as they go... they have a butterfly garden as well that my 7 year old enjoys...
I wouls say it depends on how big the wedding party is. The hall isn't that big. It would probably hold max 30 to 40 people. And no I do not think they allow you to bring liquor there. The best thing would be to call and get the specifics if you plan on having your big day here. Hope this helps.
It would probably be best to call them directly.
No
