I think so, they have lots of wild animals like racoons, crabs and birds- so they are particular about the habitat being disturbed. Probably best to not take your dog. But it's a lovely park!

I think no pets. At a different park in Broward a woman was walking two dogs in a park near the water and a large alligator came out. As the woman tried to save her dogs, the alligator dragged the woman into the water and the woman died. Small pets attract preditors. I don't think there are any Alligators though at secret Woods. Just sharing one reason why at some parks in South Florida it is very dangerous for the dog as well as the owner. It is rare, it happens very infrequently, years apart. The Gators don't usually care about people, but the small pets is their meal. The people get in the way to save the pets and they are attacked. Again this is rare and since it happened recently, that's all not give nature an excuse to do what they're programmed to do.
