For license renewal appointment at the DMV, can I make the appointment 60 days before expiration or is it 90 days before expiration?

AAA has a DMV Counter inside the building. You can ask them what your choices are, with little or no waiting. Another alternative is to call the 800 number of DMV (They will call you back, if there is a long wait time.)

You can renew your license 6months before it expires or upto 2months after it expires...you can go to AAA & RENEW with NO appointment necessary.

AAA can't issue a new one. He still has to go thru the DMV.

You can make an appointment as soon as you receive the paperwork in the mail.

He lost his license from his pocket, needs replacement
