Sadly the Hillview center closed. I loved looking at the ceiling; it reminded me of Gaudi's apartments. Oh well, this facility is very utilitarian without the fancy ceiling but a lot of the same staff are here and apparently regularly rotate between locations. This location also had Krispy Kreme donuts the day I came but those are good for my belly fat. A quick stick and drain and I was done and eating some apple slices and refilling with water. I will be back in 8 weeks.

I've donated many times at all three Stanford Blood Center locations. The staff are always friendly and professional. And the nurses are experts at doing the blood draw itself. Most of the time I barely feel the needle going in.

I started donating here a couple of years ago. I have to say, they are consistently the most pleasant people to deal with. Every donation I've made has been a pleasant experience and they're usually able to get me in and out pretty quickly.
