You are supposed to have a note from a physician stating that you have a service animal or an emotional support animal. An emotional support animal does not have any training or minimal training and by no means is the same as a service dog. People have fake notes, fake harnesses, fake collars, fake documentation and all that stuff. In the state of Rhode Island if you try to pass off your animal and do not have proof and get caught you have to pay a fine and I think it's 400 hours of community service.
What is an emotional service dog? I know that real service dogs are certified as such and under Federal Law they are allowed to go anyplace their human does. Way too many people claim emotional support animals who have no training and expect them to have the same rights as true service dogs.....
If they are not allowed on the plane I would not think that I am telling you the right thing by saying bring your emotional service dog to the airport. Massachusetts has a new law about these animals. If they are not certified then they will not be allowed.
I would assume so.
I have no idea, but I would hope yes.
