I got a text message this morning saying that a friend of mine had committed suicide because of me? So I called the hospital they said there's nobody by the name that I gave them so what do I do?

Unfortunately something like this has been being sent to people across the state and it is most likely a scam. You should still consider letting the police or sheriff's department know about it, though, in case others are getting the text or it is legitimate.

Have you tried contacting the Sheriff's Department? They would be likely to have information pertaining to this type of event.
