We don't do that intentionally if the trash isn't contained properly then when we dump the cart then there is a good chance trash will fall to the ground. It's best to make sure your trash is in a tied up trash bag to prevent that from happening. And also not over filling the cart.
As a home owner and a person who's worked in the industry, the experience begins ultimately with the homeowner. I take responsibility for how my trash is bagged as well as properly cleaning my recyclables. Proper placement of the cans, etc. All these things insure that I have done MY part. As a result, I have NEVER had your experience. As a commercial front end driver, I have multiple customers with all sorts of habits. No matter, the results are ALWAYS the same...properly bagged AND tied bags, no mess. The customer is always right, when the customer does his or her part. I'm sorry about your experience, and I'm sure that it'll be taken care of. 😊
I own a trash service also please bag all trash and it won't happen. Loose trash is a pain in the curb side can also not over filling. If customer does there part correctly then the trash service system will work correctly
If the can is all the way full, the best bet is to have the can with the handle facing to road. If the trash is bagged and tied, and the can is turned the right way, spillage will not occur.
That's the issue it always is you still do please clean up after.
