So, you have to be 18 to volunteer by yourself. If you are under 18 you have to have a legal guardian with you. If want to walk dogs the guardian has to have leash, if you want to pet kittens and cats you have to have your guardian supervise but you can handle them. You also have to be 18 years old or older to adopt.

I am not sure of the ages for adopters. You'd probably need to call on Monday to see for sure. But, by the way, you are old enough to volunteer at the shelter I believe!
