Beware of this dealer. Had my 2018 ram inspected a couple of days ago and they charged me $37 instead of the $10 it should have been since it is under 2 years old. Their excuse is that they are privately owned and that's the charge.

Did you buy your truck there? I got my 2017 Grand Cherokee there and got both inspections there free. The first inspection should be only 10 bucks anywhere, and the following years the full 37 bucks. Smithaven gives free lifetime inspections if you bought the vehicle there (as I remember).NY State inspections cost 10 bucks the first time because they don't get the pollution control checks, etc. but the following years they do and cost 37. Smithaven charges the appropriate fee if you bought the vehicle elsewhere, but nothing if you bought it from them.

I agree. Wasn't expecting it to be free, just not the price for a 3 to 25 year old vehicle.
