I have a 35yr. old Pfaff sewing machine that is 'lagging' sounds like the motor is binding when it goes. My son, an engineer says the brushes on the motor are wearing out. We ordered the parts but don't want to do the repair. Can you repair this?

Not sure.. There is a guy named Bob that does alot of work will try to find his number but my husband says if he knows what he is doing. Check itune may be a tururial on it
