One of the rudest and impolite government places I have ever visited. The guy working the drive thru is angry and I think been sniffing the paint fumes. Someone from management should really talk to this individual because he is an awful person to represent Sarasota county. Let him drive tractors at the landfill next door, far away from human contact.

Rudest, woke employees! What has happened to Sarasota County? I called the Supervisor and he was just as rude. Employees love bullying customers. Pathetic individuals.

AWFUL RUDE EMPLOYEES! Went to dump 2 gallons of old oil which I have done many times before, I guess I was in the wrong lane, they made me drive around in a circle to to other lane and dump it. There was no one behind me and it took all of 20 seconds to do. All three working there were rude I guess they never heard of the phrase "treat people the way you would want to be treated".

They do not accept medications at the site but I believe you can drop them off at your local police station or pharmacy near you.

Hazardous waste. You can call about electronics. Office Depot & Best Buy recycle them
The outer cases of VHS, Betamax and audio cassette tapes are indeed plastic, and at least theoretically recyclable. But you can't just chuck the whole thing into a recycling bin. The inner tape is made of a phthalate-laden form of the plastic polyethylene, often sold under the trade name Mylar, which is not recyclable.
