Thank you Mr Jones but I didn't buy the a/c unit I wanted to see if my landlord would be able to figure it out and yes I do have a tricky thermostat
We just dealt with this today. If your A/C installation included Honeywell zone control and/or thermostats, Mario's installers, at least in our case, did not properly program them for heat. So the control panel won't activate the dampers to properly open past Zone 1. You need to call them. They'll send out a service tech and within an hour or so, he'll have it programmed and you'll get heat.
