Yes that malls very safe Auburn's a very safe town but there's a huge Police Department in a big police presence I would not be of any concern going to the Auburn Mall that's for sure
On our visit we saw officers in the parking lot and inside also. Safe, we'll that's relative, anything can happen even at our own home!

Yes a mobile security car on the outside and 2 to 3 guards inside the building. Once in a blue moon the police will come by.
Yes, there are security officers inside the mall patrolling on Segway's and mall security patrols the parking lots too.
