The store actually had an unpleasant smell when I entered from the parking lot. Clothes were off hangers and not in their proper section. Ex: Style & Company could be found mixed in with other brand names etc.. Never going back to this Macys. Was the first and last time for me. Nothing was where it should be. What a mess! Sticking with the Solomon Pond location .

Macy's has always had prices above average. Something very frustrating is the markup and then the fake discount. Another issue with Macy's is that they understaff. I waited 20 minutes at a counter for help, that is after I asked for help twice. Overall, they overprice their goods, they limit the number of products they sell, they are consistently short staffed. I do try to understand why they are still open. Of all the chains they are definitely one that does not keep up with societal expectations for a customer service based corporation.

Staff we're more interested in a chit chat amongst themselves rather than helping me. Did find one sales assistant to ask about dresses in my size. Pointed to the three that were hanging up and said that's all they had. Wasn't interested in me and walked away. Pity, I was looking for a full wardrobe for a fourteen day cruise. I'll make my purchases elsewhere.
