Walk up on an Eastern Diamondback rattlesnake today as we were Geocaching. He was around 5 feet long.
I've seen black snakes twice in about a year and a half. I have also walked up on turtles crossing the path at least three times. Also it is very common to see alligators in a few different spots.
Not sure about hotspots, but have poison kind of snakes.
More than once, I have come across snakes, turtles, possums, racoons, armadillos, and many friendly squirrels while walking on the trail. Mind your manners and they will mind theirs. 😀
I have not come across any snakes, I'm sure they are probably in the less public areas. Playgrounds, dog park and picnic areas are always with people around so the snakes would be scarce there.
I myself have never seen any there, but im sure there are. It is Florida after all.
I'm sure there are snakes, but I've never seen any.
I'm not sure or aware or heard of a problem or seen any myself
There are rattlesnakes, seen during the summer months, usually near the more wooded area of the park. Water moccasins, closer to the edge of the water where they nest.
None seen.
Not that im aware if and ive been walking dogs there for over 15 years. I have seen a corn snake and occassional black racers tho .
