Absolutely wonderful park, especially when the weather is beautiful!

Big park, plenty of places to walk, run, ride. Multiple areas for kids to play, pavilions to have gatherings. Large dog park, 2 large big dog areas and 1 large small dog area.

It was the first time we had visited this park, and was there for our son's and daughter-in-laws baby shower. Very nice park and would highly suggest it for an event like this.

They have 2 dog parks in the back. 1 for smaller dogs and one for larger dogs.
This is a great area to have a picnic! They have several pavilions with running water, barbecues, & picnic tables! There are also several bathrooms throughout the park.
We just had my granddaughter's 6 year birthday party this past Saturday they told us no balloons no water balloons no water guns no squirt guns no water anyting and they told us if we wanted to rent a bounce house or a bouncy castle that we would have to go through them to find out what company they allowed to come in so you need to get in contact with them check out their website

I've been going there since it was before a park in the 60s and early 70s wouldn't eat anything from there, my opinion only. 4th pinellas native here . It's a rain runoff from the area, we used to ride our bike there and swim and had a blast before all the Yankees came here!!!!
No.
In the back of the park near the Walsingham exit, there is a park ranger office where there may be a Lost & Found
Catch and release
Yes, there are several coverd pic nic gazeebos on the east side of the lake, they all have grills, also by the kids playground and on the west side of the lake by the dog parks, I would suggest you pick one you like and make a reservation, you may have a 2nd choice in case it's a beautiful day and everybody is at the park! For a holiday it's first come ... so make your reservation early . ... enjoy it's a great park with clean restrooms too
To be honest a question like this would be better to just call the park instead of taking some random internet person's word on the subject... (727) 549-6142
I'm sure
You can walk your dog you can ride your bike or you can walk yourself it's a wonderful place to go to
April in the 20 years that we've lived near Walsingham we've been surprised to only see an alligator twice and what appeared to be a small crocodile once. Exercise caution and I believe you can have a good time out there.
I've been in Seminole a long time and when I was young I was told that it was, we refered to it as such, and even on school field trips to the park teachers told us to meet at the Indian mound. There are however, no indications.
I don't believe it was a garbage waste, I have never heard of it ever was. Fenced area, no trespassing? Jump the fence and see what's behind it. When the law shows up, ask why there is no trespassing.
Walk up on an Eastern Diamondback rattlesnake today as we were Geocaching. He was around 5 feet long.
Can't tell you the size but they are all the same. Large enough to handle Birthday Parties and most normal family functions.
Right across the street from the main entrance is the Florida Botanical Gardens. They have a wonderful light show through December.
ARE THE DOG PARKS OPEN
