No you don't have to use it the same day you buy. They do have an experation date but it will tell you that when you're on the website. If it's annual I think you have a year to activate it and 12 months of use after activation. Others tell you before you buy them how long you have to redeam them.
My ticket had the date on it when it had to be used. Good for 30 days

I dont know if Groupon will have a set date that it has to be used by so read all the fine print on it. I bought mine online through a different site and I had to the end of the year to use it.

There must have been a straightforward message while buying a ticket. There is either pick a date deal and/or there is a deal where you purchase a ticket now but visit whenever you want. So not sure what was your deal.
You don't need to use the 1 day pass the same day you buyed, they give you arround a year to use it, but the annual pass have different agreedment.
So Groupon has a deal from June 5-29, I wanted to buy my ticket this weekend, but I wasn’t going to go until the last weekend in June (before the promotion expires). Any idea if I can do that or will I only have a certain amount of time and/or days to use the ticket after I purchase it?
For a annual pass i just had to use it by a certain date, but not same day
