There was some thunder but at a distance. They do that for everyone's safety.

Only lightning
When we were there, it was cloudly and a little rainy. Things were still open.
There was no lighting just clouds and they closed down for 3 hours
Most in Florida close if lightning or thunder is seen or heard for 30 minutes from the last strike heard or seen
