They have a large play area for children with many slides. But as far as family rides go its all about heights... 42 inches is the magic number for a lot of bigger rides. You will have to purchase a childs ticket as well. But its no more appropriate or less appropriate than most water parks would be.
It's actually a little more restricted for a 3 year old, but it does have numerous rides that will be great the a younger person

Yes. I have a 2.5 year old she is 38 inches and she was able to do everything in the kids area. Plus the best part is that it has a height limit so no big kids to trample the little kids
