Brush and Yard Waste are accepted at the Ridge Road Transfer Station not at Luzerne rd. Ridge road is open Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday 7:45-3:15. Brush, and/or Yard debris/waste is not free but is fairly cheap. Couple dollars per bag or around $12 a truck load. The dumping spot is out back past the loader garage up the hill to the left. First pile on the right is Trees, Limbs, and Brush. The other pile across the way where you drive to get out is Grass, Leaves, hedge clippings, and smaller yard debris.
From personal experience, this location doesn't accept brush /yard waste. For that, you'd have to go to the Ridge Rd location and it's not free. If you search on "Ridge Rd Queensbury Transfer Station Fee Schedule" there's a list of fees.
