Very good people to work with

Great place to dump yer stuff. Easy system. Hardly no wait. I only gave it 4 stars because I think $70 minimum is a bit high but that's a lay person's view. I would recommend this Transfer Station to all.

Do not go to Hiram Hollow for disposal as a homeowner unless you have a total weight close to 1200 lbs because the minimum charge since they reopened is $70 upto 1200 lbs. I called because I heard it was $70 minimum they never offered to work with me when I described I only had an SUV that had about 100 to 150 lbs. I guess they are eliminating homeowners out of their business model.

Friendly person at the gate, reasonable prices. I was able to dump a ton of rubble for $20. Trash and c&d waste is a bit more, but still very reasonable.

I was notified on Saturday that Hiram hollow will not reopen until Thursday due to inspections if any more updates I will let you know
Wide open
Ok screw that then lol, I'll wait till Thursday and pay 20. Thanx
Just for recycling
Yes you can. They take anything.
No appt needed just pull in make sure the green light is on and pull up on the scale, once you get the green light again you can pull up to the left at the signs that say dump vehicle or hand unload then wait for the loader operator to show you a number of the bay you are good to back up into, when you're unloaded get back on the scale and pay. There was a 70$ minimum last a new.
No they are not there close due to the weather
Yes they do but it goes by weight with $70 being the minimum charge.
They are open today till noon
No yard waste at all
Yes it is
They have a $70 minimum up to 1200 pounds I am not an employee of their I just know with their rates are so you will have to contact them directly but they are open 7 o'clock in the morning till 330 and Saturday for a 1/2 A-day sorry I can't help you anymore
Yes. The Hollow is open.
Yes it is
They will be opening Monday morning
They are waiting for the New York State department Environmental conservation issue a permit it could be this week it could be the 1st part of next week so they cannot do anything or accept any kind of materials until they have that or get a phone call we will keep you posted thank you have a good day
From what I was told the other day they are going to openness Thursday of this week they are just waiting some final inspections
Yes
Call me knock until probably next month they are still waiting for concrete to dry and cure out
Probly in the middle of the month they are still working on the concrete and that is the only holdout
No they are not they are in the midst of rebuilding
NO
Over to finch or county waste
Check with the city of Saratoga Hiram hollow will not accept any more yard waste when they reopen and plan on reopening sometime the middle of the summer
No Not until sometime next year
what is the name of the place in ft ann?
Facility will be closed for an extended period of time. Facility will need to be rebuilt from the ground up. No mention of the date they are targeting to reopen.
The building has burnt down In a don't plan to rebuild until the Spring time And they are not taking anything at all right now
Hiram hollow will not be open for a couple of months you can go to the town of Monroe County ways in Clifton Park The town corinth
The plan is to reopen one day, no idea how long it will take to rebuild and meet code.
It is going to be awhile, i heard Fort Ann is open and inexpensive.
No still closed
If you put kitty litter in the paint so it turns solid it can go in your regular garbage. The hardware stores also sell something that does the same thing.
Burned to the ground. Won't be around for a bit
Yeah but need to be in the manual unload line. I think I seen you pull into automatic dump line
They still took TV's a month or two ago
Most places charge fifteen per mattress
Yes, no problem. They take most everything and have different spots for different recycling items.
Nick is right. If it's debris/trash you will drive on to a scale they will weigh your truck. You dump your stuff and then drive back onto the scale. The difference in weight is how they calculate the price you pay. Sorry I can't give you a pricing structure. I go there for work and everything's on account.
As long as it's strictly brush it is free. You just pull up to the pile on the left and dump
And the kitchen sink !
