It's New York State that enforces regulations on all pharmacies within the State. Including the Government who have a big say into everything as well. Sorry to hear about what may have happened but you have to understand they have to obey by the law. If you did feel like you were disrespected change pharmacies. I have always recommended them to others who also has never had any issues with anything and the staff has always treated me as well as them very well. I take quite a few medications due to a couple of health conditions I have unfortunately.
Nicholas, Consider your complaint filed. Let me first congratulate you on your sobriety! You should be very proud of yourself as I am. No one should be treated poorly or unfairly no matter what meds they take. I responded to your husband's post apologizing in advance for any possible miscommunication. We are reviewing our audio cameras as well as our phone records so that we may address any concerns that we find. There are some Rxs, like yours, that are very tightly regulated by NYS. I am not familiar at this point with the communications you received from our staff, but I do know that a patient is only allowed to be "early" to fill their prescription, 7 days TOTAL in 365 days. For example, if in Jan a person's Rx is due on the 31st, and they fill it on the 30th, that would count for 1 of the 7 days/yr allowed to fill "early". Sometimes refills fall on a Sun when we're closed, that's fine and why wiggle room is given. After 7 of those, NYS will not allow the script to be filled period
