Do you apply windshield protect to prevent chips and scratching? Can you repair and buff driving light lenses?

We have a headlight restoration process in our detail shop.

There's no protection from chipping or scratching. It's not that they don't sell one, it's that it just doesn't exist. Anyone claiming otherwise is trying to rip you off. They can't fix chipped or scratched windshields. They can't fix a cracked lens, but they can buff and defog them. That works great.

I dont believe there is a protectant for windshield to prevent chips and scratches but i could be wrong. They have a kit for headlights. It doesnt always work but it makes it better than it was usually.
