There are two camping sites for primitive camping only. You can only stay for 5 or 7 days. Cost is free. The stores are in Green Cove Springs a few miles away. You backpack everything in and out. There is 1 outhouse but it's a half mile from one camping area and 1.5 mile from the river camping area.

The district offers primitive camping on many of its public lands. Find details at www.sjrwmd.com/lands/recreation/camping.

No electricity but I think there are bathrooms...stores near by...

Camping is primitive only. There are plenty of stores nearby though if you want to really rough it. Gold Head trail is not too far from here and sounds like would suit your needs better. Camping is free... So it depends on how important those amenities are to you.
