Yes! They have wonderful Beach friendly wheelchairs available at no cost to use for the day. You just have to ask at the entry point, and they will phone ahead so the park ranger can meet you at a designated location. Additionally, the ferry is accessible and the crew are very friendly. Our 89 year old handicapped mom was able to get out to the island for a beautiful beach day. It was a wonderful experience for all of us.
