This is a must do if you have the time and are near honeymoon Beach State Park. Beautiful beach not crowded easy to get to and inexpensive to take a nice little ferry ride and the captain and mates were very entertaining.

Used the ferry on a weekday. They accept cards, no issues whatsoever. You buy a ticket, they stamp it with your return time. You can return earlier if there are free places on the ferry. The trip is rather short, but you can check out the views.

Such a great experience!! Saw awesome wildlife, the boat trip was amazing and the captains were awesome! Caladesi island is more beautiful then any other beach I've seen or swam in in florida. MUST VISIT!!

Yes
It changed with the season. 2 hrs prior to sunset is last ferry.
Very accommodating but just as nice on beach before entering the park and you do not have to pay the outlandish price.
Parking is 8.00 per car unless you only want to go 1hr prior to sunset. Then it's 4.00. The ferry is 14.00 per adult, 7.00 for kids and babies ride free with an adult ticket.
Great service. The Skipper Jack was awesome. My family loved the island. It was worth the 9 he drive.😁😁😁
Depends of the amount of people in the ferry... Weekends I don't think so... Week days for sure 😊
Yes there is one but it's slightly over priced with not much to choose from just the basics.
You are scheduled to come back at a certain time and not before
The ferry runs 365 days a year unless there is inclement weather. M-F it will start bringing guests over around 10 a.m. and runs every hour on the hour. On Sat. And Sun. it usually starts at 9:30 and runs every half hour.
$14 to take ferry to Caledesi. Has picnic tables, grills. They have umbrellas, chairs you can rent. On beach.
Yes, Ferry starts a 9AM...have to wear your mask on the Ferry but not on beach...Beautiful island 🌴🌴🌴🐳
We were there last week and it was running. $16 for an adult The last ferry back was at 6p when we went.
It was a 6 pm yesterday cada 30 minutos
Yes you can on the island ...as soon as you walk out towards the north side of the beach
I believe the ferry runs from 10am to 4pm first ferry leaving at 10 am. And its $14 last i remember haven't been in awhile.
Dogs are alliwed on the dog beach on honeymoon but not on caladesi
There is a ferry that is on Honeymoon Island that takes you over to Caladesi Island. You have a four (4)hour window on Caladesi. Its strictly a beach, no dogs permitted. They have limited space for strollers and beach carts. You are much better off carrying. If you decide to cut your visit short the group that came aboard first will board the ferry first. Take plenty of SUNSCREEN and zinc, a beach towel, drinking water and umbrella. None of these are provided. There is a small grill/store (outrageously expensive). We went one time to visit and honestly there are more beautiful beaches to see.
Only to caladisi island....$14 per person round trip.
No, HOWEVER they did tell my husband & me at the ferry station that YOU CAN purchase an annual ferry pass (locals) for a cheaper price than the standard $15 adult, 13$ child.
I paid at the get on the boat location. Like the the person above noted. The ferry goes back and forth every 1/2 hour.
I saw one a few weeks ago on Honeymoon Island!
