No they follow the boat . If you like dolphins you I love this. Also try to video them.
When we were there in March, some of the other people snorkeled and the dolphins came up to them!
No you just view them from the boat but still really fun

No, you can not swim with the dolphins. They play in the wake created by the boat. When i ride with them, the captain kept going around to try to find them as to not leave us disappointed.
