Absolutely fabulous! We booked a cruise for 17 and it was awesome. Communication was great, everyone was so friendly and the cruise itself was fantastic. We saw tons of dolphins. Which was so fun. The snorkeling was great, waters were calm and clear and it was wonderful. The shelling was really awesome too. Lots of unique shells and the beach was breath taking. There was a storm on the horizon and it was so beautiful. I wish we had a little bit longer for the shelling but regardless it was awesome. The boat ride was great and didn't feel crowded even though it was a full boat. Everyone in our group had a great time, even the ones that don't like to swim. We all would do it again. Priced right and definitely worth it.

A Nony Mouse

5/8/2022 Captain Frank and First Mate David were both very personable and kind. The boat ride was very relaxing feeling the windy breeze on a hot summer. I was one of 5 people who took up the offer to sit in front of the helm. That was really fun- got to feel the rockiness and occasional splash. First stop was snorkeling near this shore with grass beds (Edit 8/7/22: I believe this was Passage Key). It was a perfect clear sunny day with very calm water, so visibility was high. Among the shallow parts I got to swim among little schools of fish and spotted a few urchins. Don't be disappointed that there's no colorful corals or tropical fish. This is Tampa, not the Dominican Republic after all. The water however, was stunning crystal blue and the different depths near the shore made different shades of blue/green that was really pretty. Next stop was Egmont Key. Saw a few tortoises and got to explore the ruins of Fort Dade. The only way to Egmont Key is by boat, so it was pristine with few people and clear blue/green water. Most of the people there were my fellow tour group members. The waves were more choppy than the grassbeds area, so it was less snorkel-able. But still enjoyable to walk along the beach and admire the warm foamy waves crashing against your legs. Overall, a gorgeous day and trips to pristine areas only accessible by boat. Out of the local companies I've researched, $55 per adult is a great deal for a more intimate small boat tour with about 20 other people.

Wonderfully knowledgeable guides! Great information with a great view! No guarantee of being able to see dolfina as they are wild animals but always a great time. Really enjoyed the information they shared about ways to help the environment and be sustainable in our everyday lives. Thank you Rachel!

Very fun, staff was amazing. They definitely try to make sure you see Dolphins, highly recommend. Family friendly and plenty of things to do, lots of pretty shells, old army buildings, snorkeling, and of course Dolphins

Becky Pearce | Sep 6, 2018

Yes.call ahead and reserve.we were gone for 4 hours.wear water shoes and swimming suit as you have to walk along side the boat down a ladder and into knee deep water to get to island.i would recommend putting sunscreen on before boarding the boat bc they don't allow you to spray on the boat.bring plenty of water and maybe a shell bag if that's your thing.

Hey Judy, the dolphin cruise is amazing. Bring sunblock, but when the guide sees the dolphins, you have to clap really loud and yell for them to come up and stay. Have fun

Sean Buckmaster | Sep 5, 2021

He seems to start at 9 am or as soon as he has a full ship. If enough for 2 boats show up both go around 9. If not it's when ever it has enough people.

Do you see any marine life during snorkeling? Or is it just for the shells?
