how long is mail held when box has been marked vacant because mail was not picked up for 7 days due to out of town emergency.

I was told that they hold the mail for 30 days

If the box is currently paid in full mail will not be returned. If the box is past due it is held for 10 days then returned.

They are supposed to hold it for 10 days minimum but no more than 30 days
