my box at my complex was marked vacant on the 16th this month. Are they still holding my mail or has it been sent back?

I got a green card it had the date scribbled in the corner and in another corner 3R, I didn't get any other notifications. ..........I NEVER SAW ANY PEACH COLORED SLIP OR ANYTHING,IT HAD ONLY BEEN 9 DAYS SINCE I CHECKED MY MAIL BEFORE THAT SO I DON'T SEE HOW THAT CAN HAPPEN.

If the carrier notified your box with a dated vacant slip already, then your mail was held 10 days prior to that. On the 16th is when they sent your mail back.
