Do they allow phones? I know that there is a place in florida where they allow phones as an in patient and I'm trying to find it.

I agree. For people coming in for inpatient treatment, phones are not allowed on the units. However, the intake department allow you time to retrieve any important numbers before your phone is locked up in the safe. For people coming in as outpatient treatment, phones are permitted.

They do have phones that only patients answer. You need your loved ones password for the staff to transfer to rooms where two wall phones are.
