Wow,I have a 3.7 litre I wouldn't tow that capacity in weight.I think you can get accurate facts from Kia. If you had the dealer install it,surely they would be able to provide max specs. Not saying 5,000 lbs is wrong,its more than I would do,and I do it for a living.
I would not do it with mine. Not worth messing up my property I spent so much money one. You have to ask yourself is it worth messing up.
