Well the plant has been closed since Juune 2013. It is currently in the process of decommissioning. But the real problem is the zero carbon energy that was lost
Fault is not failure, faults are all over US, structural engineers design all facilities and buildings to the seismic motion of the faults. San Onofre was designed to the highest standards, so seismicity is not problem
They closed it 5 years ago.....
Plant is no longer producing waste, SCE is now in the process of moving the 3,600,000 lbs of spent fuel from the watchable spent fuel pools into thin cans that can't be repaired
Run for it Elizabeth before it's too late. Oh my God!!!
The plant is no longer nuclear it's been decommissioned
