I live all the way in Stockton and my parents lived in chico and i was able to dose in chico and its 3 hours away. So i would talk to the head Supervisor cause ive never had issues there before.
You dont have to live in chico to be a patient.. I made the drive every day from Red Bluff and Magalia.. there are also locations in Marysville and Redding if you cant make it to Chico.. Yes in the beginning you will have to go there everyday, wheb you ahow progress in your treatment you can earn up to 6 take home doses a week.
You need to help yourself. It's not up to anybody else to help you. YOU need to make the effort, WHATEVER that takes.
I am in the process of transferring to this clinic having just moved to Oroville from Riverside in So. CA. And although there has been some delay because of the time required to get my Medi-Cal transfered from Riverside County to Butte County (I'm disabled & on Social Security), they have courtesy dosed me for the past 4 weeks & have done all they can to assist me. There are limits to what any opioid treatment program can do. All clinics are different & must abide by rules & regulations as set forth by county, state, & federal regulatory agencies as well as those put in place by those who own & operate the facility in question. This is the third methadone clinic that I have had dealings with, but I see no sign that Aegis is unreasonable in who they do & do not accept as clients, or that they unduly limit the area they service. It's important to remember that there is no magical formula to treatment & like all things, recovery takes time, effort & individual commitment.
