Mary D does know. The ACCESS van drivers are not allowed to accept tips. However, you may, if you choose to, authorize the taxi driver to add a tip to your fare payment. The system will add a 10% tip, to a max of $2, to your payment. You may also, or alternatively, tip the taxi driver in cash. If you are newly certified consider attending rider orientation held every tues 10am. No reservation necessary 😁
Yes if yout n the driver was curtiuse but not necessarily some driver think they should but most people are also on a budget even if it's only 10% it do add be aware some driver do it automatically keep an eye the are to ask not just take paratrantsit is a savings for low income n it's as if anytime.
I tip my drivers if they are good. Paratransit limits the tip to be no more than 10% of the total.
