Black Heart is a special place. The inside is clean, and the walls are plastered in incredible pieces of flash and stunning works of art. The receptionists are always welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The artists are phenomenal and they all offer their own unique styles. I am lucky and blessed to be able to get my tattoos done by Jeff. Not only is he a kind human being, but he’s also one of the best tattoo artists in the world. I love Black Heart so much that I travel from out of town to get my work done here. I mean there’s a reason why this shop has been in business for as long as it has.

ABSOLUTELY LEGIT SHOP!!! I am heavily tattooed but I don't flaunt my ink and usually when I go to a shop for the first time I keep as much covered as possible to see how I get treated and if I feel comfortable enough to get tattooed by them. A lot of times, I've experienced it myself, people say they go in feeling intimidated and get treated horribly. I'm not sure why it's been the stigma of tattoo shops for eons but it is and can be intimidating even for me who has spent more than 150+ hours getting tattooed. NOT BLACK HEART... NOT HERE. You can stroll in and feel a good vibe right away. The shop is pretty big compared to most shops and if I had one complaint the only thing would be the counter greeter, who is usually a new apprentice or someone wanting to earn their way, hasn't had as much experience and the girl that is currently there is not friendly. She's condescending and rude and made me feel like an idiot when I had talked to someone there and they were expecting me. But I'm sure she's temporary. With her attitude she won't last long anywhere. But, the artist themselves are AMAZING. Unbelievably friendly and welcoming. The shop is IMMACULATELY CLEAN. I am quite sure you will have an excellent experience from start to finish with the crew over at Black Heart. I've been trapped by Cory and the other guys like Mike and Mo are seriously legit artists and genuinely solid dudes. 100000% recommend
