Are the roads gravel or paved? We are planning on riding motorcycles to tour the area. They are touring bikes.

I remember gravel years ago.

Paved up to the View hotel. From the View to Fords point they finally put down gravel. For the one-way loop starting at Fords, it is just a dirt road, and may be fairly rough in spots. This is based on a March 2018 visit.
