Good place to visit if it's a rainy day and you have kids. There is a room upstairs with 2 or 3 volunteers who are very friendly and are eager to show your kids cool things of nature, look in microscopes, color things etc. I wasn't expecting much, but I was very surprised at how worth it this was.

Dear Diary, Today I went to the Johto Island Nature Center and I caught 17 Bulbasaurs. The area is rich with Pokemon and gyms. I love resting on the bench at the Pokemon Center while wiping the sweat off my triple chin and catching Pokemon like I catch my breath.

This was cute little area to walk in. Obviously the nature center wasn't open but the trail was very nice. If you want to have a break of the sun go here. Its not big but you can at least spend 30min there. Maybe bring a picnic and watch the speed boats on the Intracoastal waterway. The fishing pier is not open right now because it got damaged during the hurricane. There were also some fallen trees on the trail but nothing dangerous in my opinion. The bathrooms were not open are not open at this time.

A good place to get out of the sun, also has a nice fishing dock.
