Answer 10/14/'21. 1. Any medical doctors prescription is fillable if the pharmacy has the medicine a) in stock & b) on the formulary. At no cost. 2. Assuming the patient is or has a valid military sponsor with a valid military ID card. There are additional exceptions. But if you or your sponsor are allowed on Base everything else usually falls in place. THERE IS NO CO-PAY FOR MILITARY PHARMACIES. How do I know? I'm a retired Navy ATC and I've been getting my prescriptions here since 1977 on Civilian prescriptions. My average time in line is less than 15 min. Longest time was 1 hour 45 min. Shortest was 4 min. Age 83+ this year.
Thank you. Would it be co-pay and at what percentage is out of pocket?
You need an ID first to just get into the pharmacy. If you have a prescription from your doctor yes
