Someone said to get a picnic table while there. Is this during the concert are they close or better to be in seating? If you do pay for a picnic table what is ok to bring?

No payment for tables around the venue. They're free community property. Get there early to enjoy a picnic. You can also eat at your seats while event is going on. Have Fun!

Get there early if you want a picnic so you can still have good seats since it's open seating

They are just outside of the stage/seating area. Save your show seats if GA then go enjoy picnic before the show.
